Julie Grundy is an information architect and user experience designer with over 10 years of experience and a passion for aligning UX and business needs. She loves to find the answer to the question, “Is this effective?”  Currently, Julie is working as a Senior UX Designer at Bronto + Oracle in the eCommerce marketing space. Before that she had a long stint in higher ed at Providence College and Duke University. In all cases, she has integrated user research practices to team processes.

Julie volunteers with Triangle UXPA and is co-founder of Ladies that UX Durham. You can find her at evangelizing about advocating for structured content, explaining the beauty of faceted search, or enjoying one of the many fine restaurants in downtown Durham. Tweets at @julie_away
