Design with mental health in mind

Inclusive Design

With 1 in 4 people living with a diagnosed mental illness, it's surprising that the lense of mental health is left out of the design process. Over the last few years, we've become better at making our products more inclusive with attention being paid to things like accessibility, but there's still more we can do.

The decisions we make as designers can have a huge cumulative impact on the lives of people that use our products day-to-day, so it's important that we bring "mental health" to the table.

This session aims to provide the mental models, tools, and resources you need to start creating kinder experiences for everyone.
