Bradley is a product designer based in London, England; currently designing integrity experiences for the Facebook Family of Apps. Prior to joining Facebook, Bradley was the founder of Caus, a product design studio focused on mental health design.
Outside of his day job, he regularly speaks at conferences, facilitates design workshops, and writes about design on Medium.
At the core of all his projects lies the belief that technology should be designed with mental health in mind. Whether a social app, utility tool, or mindfulness experience, we have the responsibility to make our products kinder to all.
With 1 in 4 people living with a diagnosed mental illness, it's surprising that the lense of mental health is left out of the design process. Over the last few years, we've become better at making our products more inclusive with attention being paid to things like accessibility, but there's still more we can do.
The decisions we make as designers can have a huge cumulative impact on the lives of people that use our products day-to-day, so it's important that we bring "mental health" to the table.
