While this workshop seems geared towards UX designers, UX writers, and content strategists, I've also had project managers, UX researchers, and developers attend past sessions.
Beginner/Intermediate
You know content is a key tenant of a great user experience, and you’re ready to incorporate content strategy into your design workflow. But where do you start?
In this workshop, we’ll dive into several hands-on activities to help you understand when and how to include content strategy in your design process. We’ll learn how to address business goals and user needs, craft communication goals, and work collaboratively with other writers and designers. You’ll leave with five activities that focus on team alignment, stakeholder buy-in, and cross-discipline collaboration.
We will cover:
Brittney Urich is a Senior UX Designer who specializes in helping others understand content strategy and implement it on design projects. She’s passionate about crafting digital experiences that solve problems in a human-centered, empathetic way.
As a champion for the integration of user experience design and content strategy, she speaks and hosts workshops about how the two disciplines work together. She has hosted a content strategy webinar with attendees from more than 20 countries and written articles about experience content and design (including one for Optimal Workshop). When she’s not working, you can find her exploring national parks or hiking with her dog, Izzy.
